I had a really good experience with this phone shop and computer service shop especially because of Panjak, he was kind and very helpful. I went there because my laptop charger stopped working and I wasn’t sure if the problem was actually the charger or my computer.

Even though he didn’t have the exact charger I needed, he took the time to check my computer and test another charger to see if that was the issue. He explained everything clearly and recommended the type of charger I should buy. What I really appreciated is that he didn’t charge me anything for checking and trying to help diagnose the problem.

He could have easily tried to sell me a different charger he had in the store, but instead he was honest and focused on helping me find the right solution. I found that very professional and kind.

Do you offer warranties on your repairs?

Absolutely. We stand behind the work we do. Screen replacements come with a full 12-month warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship. Standard repairs like batteries, charging ports, and other hardware services carry a 3-month warranty. Warranties cover defects related to our work—they don’t cover accidental physical damage (dropping, cracks), liquid exposure, or use beyond normal specifications.
It depends on the issue and model. Quick-turnaround services are standard:
  • Battery replacement: roughly 20 minutes while you wait
  • Screen replacement: about 45–90 minutes while you wait (screens in!)
  • Charging port repair: roughly 45–60 minutes
  • Google FRP unlock: under an hour
  • Software troubleshooting: 30 minutes–2 hours
Complex labour works vary:
  • iPhone motherboard repair (lines: Audio IC, Charging IC, etc.): 1–2 hours or more, depending on difficulty
  • Water damage full repair: 1–4 hours depending on damage severity
  • Data recovery: 1–3 business days for complete recovery or partial
Parts arrival times: if we don’t have your part in stock (for rare devices), we’ll source it and call with delivery time. Most standard parts are kept on the shelf at our Barrack Street shop.
Act quickly. Take it out of any case. Turn it off immediately if it’s still powered on. Do NOT charge it—this can cause short circuits. Shake gently to remove excess water. Wipe the outside dry. Bring to QuickFix Phonez immediately. Waiting beyond 24 hours makes water damage significantly harder to treat. Most common mistake users make is charging their waterlogged phone, which often creates permanent short circuits. Don’t do that—damage worsens exponentially when you apply power to a wet device.
Standard screen and battery replacements typically won’t affect your data. However, for your own peace of mind, it’s wise to perform regular backups—you have iCloud/Google Photos/Google Contacts backup and local backups. For water damage or motherboard issues, we always strongly recommend backing up important files. Data recoverable loss can happen in severe cases. We never factory reset your device without your explicit permission.
Sometimes the damage is too extensive for safe or economical repair. If your device is beyond recovery, QuickFix Phonez will explain why honestly. We only proceed with work if we can realistically fix your device with available parts. For devices with severe corrosion, well past the point of economic viability, we won’t attempt work that will cost more than the device’s value. For hopeless cases, we help guide you to affordable certified refurbished replacements.
  • Your phone with any accessories you bring with it (charger, case, SD card, etc.; though SD cards are often removed for screen repair)
  • Payment method (cash, card, or app)
  • Glasses or anything else you might need while reading estimates—they can be magnified on our devices
  • Any instructions or workflows your phone’s normal use requires you to remember, especially for work or special purposes.
  • Bring ID or proof of residence if you request warranty service
  • Occasionally schedule—they think about call ahead for rare models or complex issues
  • Let us know if you think water damage or liquid exposure occurred—even if not obvious
  • Ask questions—tell us what you know and doubt about your phone
  • Expect to walk out with a temporary case for cracked screens (we don’t want you dropping your repaired phone without protection)
  • Pick up any repairs early—your device isn’t a custodial deposit, we’ll contact you to pick up after completion
Professional reassessment needed. A phone’s water resistance is compromised when damage occurs, and it’s compromised further when we disassemble it for repair. We can reseal properly with the appropriate adhesives and testing, but we cannot guarantee your device will be waterproof again after a repair. Normal splash water resistance may be partially restored but only careful user handling can maximise it.
QuickFix Phonez operates Monday through Saturday (closed Sundays generally). Hours are typically 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, making it easy to drop by before work, during lunch breaks, or one evening after work. Public holidays may vary—we can provide updated information closer to the holiday. Weekends are our busiest time—many customers fit repairs in when their time is most limited. Book ahead if you have a rare model or complex issue.
